A Case for Inquiry. Extend the Mandatory System, in «The Times», October 7, 1937, p. 15.
Letter to the Editor.

“Sir, Within the last few days the colonial question has been raised once more by two
authoritative voices – Herr Hitler’s at Nuremberg and Mr. Te Water’s at Montreal. Speaking
as a citizen of a country which, like the United Kingdom, is at present administering part of
the former German colonial empire under an international Mandate, the High Commissioner
for South Africa in London has just pleaded, in Canada, for a speedy examination, at a
conference table, of Germany’s point of view.”
